Introduction

I, Arthur Flowers, as a concerned, and disappointed citizen of these great United States, am running for President of the United States, as an independent write-in candidate. If you are also concerned about the path being taken by our President and those now running to replace him, and the do-nothing congress, I need your help to change our current self destructive course.

It isn't any form of monetary help in the way of contributions. We are not asking for one red cent. What we are asking for is your attention, and a small amount of your time (20 to 30 minutes, one time only). Hopefully you will read my platform which follows, and are in agreement with me.

You can help make these plans a reality by what we call an inverted pyramid. By passing this message on to people of like-mind in your sphere of communication (relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etcetera) even if it's only one or two and asking them to pass it on, we can begin a snowball effect of hope for change never before seen in America.

In order to do this without cost to you, or me, we are campaigning via the Internet . It won't be necessary to have big money to cover the costs of advertising, traveling, PR people (that's YOU), etcetera. All those billions of dollars combined can be used to implement programs to benefit YOU and your family !

Now, if you are with me there's one other thing you must do. You must register to vote and you must write me in as your next President (except in Nevada where my name will be on the ballot.) Unfortunately, because of existing, varying laws in each State (a protective mechanism for the Democrat and Republican candidates established by Congress and the two party system), the only way I can insure being voted for in almost every State is by write-in. We do not have the time, nor the money to go to every State, pay the fee, and collect the State's necessary signatures to appear on the national ballot. For us, it must be the write-in process.

I don't give a damn about getting on stages throughout this country to debate the candidates. I do give a damn about where our country is headed and the impact it has and will have on you the people of this country, both present and future generations. This Internet Web site and blog is to convey my positions to you. I will be willing to do interviews via telephone on talk shows (radio and TV).

You, in turn, must do your part by supporting me in passing my message on and writing in the name: ARTHUR FLOWERS, for President in the November 2008 election. I cannot do it alone.
