Issues and Positions Platform

One minute after I'm sworn in as President and Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Armed Forces, I will issue orders to:

(1) Begin pulling all U.S. troops our of Iraq and Afghanistan (precipitoulsy) and bring them home. Troops pulled out of South Korea (40,000), Okinawa, Germany (120,000), etcetera will be stationed on the Mexican border to stop illegal aliens, terrorists and drug dealers from entering U.S. (relates to #2 next): President Nixon stopped the Vietnam war by pulling our troops out precipitously and no catastrophe occurred ... not one American casualty since. In fact, American corporations are now partnering-up with our former enemy and making billions. (There were 58,000 American troops killed in Vietnam and hundreds of thousands maimed for life.) Contrast that with Korea where there has never been a pullout of any kind, not even a precipitous one ... never an end to that war, just a cease-fire. (There were 26,000 Americans killed in Korea and hundreds of thousands wounded mentally and physically for life.) Now, more than 50 years later, after spending billions maintaining our troops there, we face another war—this time a nuclear war—with the same maniacs. So much for the Bush-Cheney calamitous, precipitous pullout danger. One of Bush's biggest lies to date. Those who compare the Iraqi-Afghan war to Vietnam are mistaken. The comparison should be made to Korea where the war has never ended. And so it will be in Iraq and Afghanistan if we leave it up to Bush, Cheney, Hillary, Obama and Giuliani, all non-combatants who intend to leave our troops there forever.

So far, more than 3,800 Americans have been killed in Bush's noble war and thousands wounded, many of them coming home and being denied proper medical care by the Veterans Administration. That's the Bush-Cheney mantra ... send other peoples children to get blown-up in their war and then dump on them when they need medical care.

And how many of Bush's family members have served in Iraq-Afghanistan, or volunteered for military service? Bush's two daughters, no; Bushes ten nieces and nephews, none. The President and his three brothers during Vietnam, none. Incidentally, there is an ongoing debate about who was the most notorious draft dodger of the Vietnam War, George W. Bush, Jr. or Slick Willy Bill Clinton? Actually, neither ... it was the other of today's dynamic duo warmongers, Dick Cheney, the Deferment King. During Vietnam, Dugout Dick finagled eleven deferments, one of them being a parent deferment (how many parents are being slaughtered in his and Bushes Iraq-Afghan war today?). Perhaps the Bush-Cheney war slogan should be ... Fighting wars on foreign soils is for thee, but not for me and my family.

If the American people continue to elect presidents from the Republican and Democratic parties—and continue to support a cowardly two party system—egregious wars will always be fought with your children and grandchildren, while the non-combatant family members watch from the sidelines. (Keep in mind these are not your fathers and grandfathers wars ... some women do go to combat, to wit: Issue #22 below, Major Tammy Duckworth.)

You may be sitting back and relaxing, surmising that your six and seven year old sons, daughters, and grandchildren are safe from war, but I sadly guarantee that given the two party systems' militaristic history, probabilities are high you will be praying to God that your kin won't have their arms, legs, and heads blown off by roadside bombs in some other godforsaken land, thousands of miles from home.

If you don't believe that, take a look at what Hillary Clinton proposed recently ... that she would now invade Pakistan (supposedly our ally) and would not rule out a nuclear strike. Apparently, she doesn't know Pakistan also has nuclear capability. Obama would also invade Pakistan. I thought these two Presidential front-runners have promised to stop the war, not to start others. As for the mob of Democrat and Republican presidential candidates who have no plans to end the war soon, e.g. Obama, Hillary, Biden, Leahy, Giuliani, Thompson, Romney (he has five military aged sons who have not yet volunteered) ... all of these candidates were never in combat and they also did not serve!

Let's understand one thing ... bringing the troops home now, does not suggest a lack of support for them. On the contrary, pulling them out of danger from a useless war that will never end, is the strongest show of support for our military and their families that I can think of. I know, because I have been there. Bush, and all the candidate lovers of war have not! [ Top ]

(2) A significant number of pulled troops will be utilized to help find illegal immigrants and deport them at Mexico's expense since they failed to stop them from pouring in through their side of the border. No amnesty at any time ... guest worker program will make U.S. employers responsible for illegals obeying the rules . For each illegal (criminal) Mexico allows to cross the boarder (meaning: invade the U.S.), Mexico will be billed $5,000 to reimburse us for costs to maintain border security and for deportation expenses. For the second violation (for the same criminal), Mexico will be billed $10,000 and $25,000 for the third and last violation. Following the third violation the illegals will be imprisoned for as long as Mexico allows them to violate our border. Should Mexico refuse to pay the fines, the U.S. will take appropriate action to recover our costs (this extensive plan will not be revealed until we are forced to implement it).

While we're at it, I believe this may be the right time to set the record straight about the difference between legal immigration and illegal aliens. Those Hispanics who continue to try to obfuscate the problem by constantly referring to the illegal criminals as immigrants, are fooling no one. (The moment they plant one foot on U.S. soil, they have broken the law ... they become illegal aliens, not immigrants. ) Immigrants are those who enter the U.S. legally and apply for citizenship. They do not steal into our country illegally.

Most Americans are descendants of legal immigrants and we have no quarrel with legal Hispanic-American citizens. A case in point are my parents who immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900s. The first act on their agenda was to learn to speak, read and write English, so that they could become legal citizens of the U.S. as soon as possible. My father was so eager to demonstrate his loyalty to his newly adopted country that he enlisted in the U.S. army during World War I. (Another stupid, worthless war we had no business being in. In fact, history has not yet defined what that war was all about.) He was promptly sent to France where he was gassed at Verdun. Fortunately, he survived and returned home where several years later, he died of lung complications resulting from the mustard gas wounds suffered in France. He died at age 38, I was two, my brother was four.

These were difficult times for my mother because it was the middle of the great depression, but my mother got our family through it until the economy improved and she then managed to land a factory job at General Motors in Detroit. (There were no freebie government handouts in those days as there are today for the illegal criminals). She attributed this success to her continued study of English and that she had obtained citizenship early on.

So for those Hispanics, legal or illegal, who call us legal American citizens racists and haters because we support law and order in our country, you'd better change your rhetoric because the American people are fed up with your lawlessness and despicable attitude! Those Hispanic people who were born in this country and those who are naturalized and are law abiding citizens, will always be considered an integral part of the United States. Do we have it straight now? We are always talking about illegal aliens, not legal immigrants! Please go to Addenda A to see what I intend to do as President to stop this invasion of our country. (3) Within the first six months following my election, the American people will be asked to vote on a bill that will add an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to change our form of government from a representative-Republic (i.e. Congress representing the people, which they do not ... Congresspeople only represent themselves and their political parties) to a Direct Democracy , where the people represent themselves on a yearly basis by voting in a general election on all major issues of the times, e.g. Scrap the income tax—and thus the IRS—for a national sales tax; vote for real choice in education (vouchers); stop all foreign aid; get out of United Nations; etcetera. The nation of Switzerland has had considerable success with one form of Direct Democracy for more than 10 years over the recent past. This vote will essentially dump the bought, lying, cheating, pusillanimous, do nothing Congress and two party system. Establish a theme song for the democratic and republican parties written in the '30s by Duke Ellington, to wit: Do nothing till you hear from me. The last two lines of the lyrics are perfect for the two party system ... But please do nothing till you hear it from me ... and you never will. [ Top ]

(4) Ask the people to vote to replace the income tax with a national value-added tax or sales tax. This is the only fair way to tax the people. For the wealthy, let's see them hide their purchase of a ten million dollar yacht or write it off as some kind of deductible expense. Yet, for people like my wife and I who have lived with the philosophy: That man is richest whose pleasures are the cheapest— if they want to be frugal, their taxes won't amount to much and they'll save more than they ever had for a wonderful retirement. But for the big spenders, they will rightfully keep our economy and tax coffers growing. (Food and medicine will be exempt from the tax). [ Top ]

(5) Ask Americans to vote on a bill that will exempt all small business owners from a Federal, corporate income tax if their gross receipts are less than $100,000,000 per year. A nation's economic growth is dependent upon the strength of its small business industries and entrepreneurs. If we cut them loose from government taxation and bureaucratic harassment, the small business community will show us how to rebuild America (especially the mom and pop and family businesses). [ Top ]

(6) Have the people vote on a bill that will provide the retired with the same level and quality of health insurance currently enjoyed by Congress with its many millionaires who can afford to pay for their own insurance. Why do these wealthy Congresspeople deserve a much higher quality health care system than the average hard working American? They don't work ... they only put in time as traveling around the world on the taxpayers dime ... campaigning instead of working and getting free $300, four hour lunches from their pimp lobbyists. Do you think members of Congress care about the health care of elderly retirees and innocent children? It has been estimated that if the Iraq-Afghan war continues like Korea and Vietnam, those wars and the usual rebuilding process could exceed one trillion dollars. That's three times what it would cost to provide free health care, for all Americans. And in the meantime, who's going to rebuild the U.S., Bush and his appointed cronies? Ask the people of New Orleans and Minneapolis about that. [ Top ]

(7) Provide the people with the opportunity to finally vote on a voucher educational program ... the real choice in education. Much tuition relief for parents who send their children to private, parochial, and home-schools because they provide a better education and are safer than public schools.

Everybody knows that public schools can't hold a candle to parochial and private schools and home-schooling when it comes to academic achievement. I remember vividly a black father on the evening news in the Cleveland area, who with tears rolling down his cheeks, vowed to get a third job if necessary to keep his young daughter in a Catholic school, where she was doing so well academically, because the U.S. Office of Education terminated funding for a voucher-assisted program for whatever convoluted reason. Let's give disadvantaged children the opportunity to attend schools of their choice including the best among parochial and private schools, via a national voucher system.

Let's forever bury the well propagated lies of the government school lobby regarding the phantom benefits of small class size and more money equals better learning . For decades, well conducted statistical studies have clearly demonstrated that smaller class size does not produce better learning, only the quality of the teacher does. I spent eight years of my elementary school education in a Polish-Catholic school (Our Lady Queen of Angels in Detroit) and I can't remember a year when we had fewer than 45 students in our classroom, yet we never had kids who were labeled mentally handicapped or disadvantaged (in those days, everyone was poor). When one of the kids was slower than the others, all of the students helped him/her to learn. The nun-teachers kept discipline at a high level at all times. There were no visiting teachers (psychologists), special education personnel, nor crisis counselors depriving the students the opportunity to learn how to psychologically adjust to difficult situations in the school setting ... no wonder public schools are so chaotic!

As for the biggest Goebellesk lie in public education today, i.e. That the more money tax-payers throw at public education, the greater the level of academic achievement, the states and districts (District of Columbia) that have the highest level of spending per pupil—more than $12,000 per child—e.g. Washington D.C., New York, Detroit, Houston, have the lowest levels of academic performance in the country.

Contrast that with the states that have the highest levels of academic achievement, e.g. North and South Dakota, Nebraska, and the best school districts in the country in Utah, have the lowest level of spending per pupil ... most under $5,000 per child, and Utah as low as $4,500. Those figures demonstrate a strong negative correlation between dollars spent per child and academic achievement. [ Top ]

(8) Encourage voters to support a bill to force the federal government to return all federal (BLM) lands—except National Parks and Monuments—back to the people of each of the 50 states. Recently in Nevada, a group of citizens were charged $55,000 to use BLM land for recreational purposes. Nevada is a perfect case in point, what has the federal government ever done to deserve to own up to 87% of the peoples' land in Nevada? As an old movie buff, I don't recall John Wayne, Ward Bond, Gabby Hays, etcetera ever being accompanied in an Indian war by the likes of U.S. Congressmen, their business cohorts and their lobbyists. When it comes to owning the peoples land, in all states, the federal government hasn't earned squat (an old Indian term). [ Top ]

(9) Ask the people to vote on a bill to force abortion clinics to inform parents when their under aged daughter is brought in for an abortion. This would give parents a real choice to select the abortionist and to be with their daughter during the medical procedure. Why would somebody like Hillary Clinton oppose a parent notification law? (She has, in California, in 2006 and it was the clinching factor in defeating the bill). What was Hillary doing in California anyway? I guess the tentacles of the octopus spread far and wide. We know there are many American parents who support abortion who nevertheless feel they have the right to be notified that their minor daughter is being taken to an abortionist. So much for Ms. Clinton and her continuous, nauseating claim to being the premier family advocate. Elect Hillary and the government will kill your fetus and take control of your children and grandchildren ... mentally and physically. Your children and grandchildren will become legal wards of the state. [ Top ]

(10) Encourage the people to vote for a law that would allow pharmaceutical and drug companies to become involved in a federally sponsored competitive research program to develop a weight gain prevention medication (in pill form) and weight loss, obesity treatment medication. Excessive fat in humans is the culprit in exposing Americans to the worst killer diseases known to mankind, e.g. cardiovascular disease, stroke, breast and prostate cancers, diabetes, which cost the American people billions for medical treatment and funerals. Many European countries have been successfully developing such medications (many in pill form) for decades and many Americans have been boosting Europe's economy by spending their dollars there and bringing the pills home. [ Top ]

(11) A special request will be made of Americans to vote on an initiative to reaffirm our forefathers' belief that the U.S. is One Nation Under God, with liberty and justice for all. In God we trust is still the backbone of our spiritual strength whether the atheist complainers believe in it or not, they are still welcome in America. [ Top ]

(12) Closely associated with #11 above is the reaffirmation of Christmas as a national holiday. Those who do not support that vote can forfeit their paid holiday day-off. Those businesses that make billions on the Christmas holidays, yet substitute Happy Holidays for Merry Christmas and deny their employees the right to wish their customers a Merry Christmas, will be publicly chastised for their hypocrisy by my administration. If the retailers don't like Merry Christmas, Santa Claus, Christmas Trees, etcetera, they should stop being hypocrites and refuse to take the billions in earnings and get into some other business. As for communities like the small town in Florida that would not allow any display of Christmas tradition, e.g. Christmas lights, creches, Christmas trees and gift giving, this federal law reaffirming Christmas as a national paid day-off holiday, will be screaming at the hypocrites … don't like the Christmas law, the overwhelming American majority does—nobody's holding a gun to your head to live in the U.S., bye, bye! Should the majority of Americans vote against the reaffirmation, we'll cancel it as a National holiday and celebrate it privately as a religious holiday. [ Top ]

(13) A vote on getting out of the United Nations. The U.N. Building in New York should be sold to the highest bidder or should be leased to the U.N. at prevailing leasing prices. Cancel the World Bank and International Monetary Fund which give billions in loans to Third and Fourth World Countries, who often do not repay them because most of the money goes to the political leader of the country, who stashes it away in a Swiss or Caribbean offshore bank. Most of these countries would be turned down by any neighborhood bank in the U.S.

Ask Americans who are trying to get loans and mortgages after the recent Sub-Prime debacle, while the brilliant congressional oversight committees and sub-committees slept on their watch (and the former Fed God Greenspan slept along with them) ... some of them were probably out campaigning for President instead of doing their jobs in Congress. Yet, the careful and frugal Americans who were too smart to walk into the Sub-Prime and interest only payment mortgages, and saved their money for a down payment, can't get a $200,000 home loan! [ Top ]

(14) Propose a vote on forever eliminating double taxation laws, e.g. (a) Capital Gains Taxes and (b) The Death Tax. Retired Americans have not worked their entire lives to lose much of their savings and investments to double taxation. Why should the government inherit the money intended for family endowment? Taxes had already been payed on that earned income. Give it to Congress so that they can blow it on asinine Pork programs. Or, give it to Bush so that he can appropriate 129 million to teach Iraqi school children how to dance hip hop and fox trot (dubbed an Introduction to American Art Program). Terminate capital gains taxes and watch business investment grow at unprecedented rates. If we want to compete with China and India, we'd better stop punishing investors. [ Top ]

(15) To vote on a federal law that will allow all professionally trained and experienced workers to teach their subject specialties—e.g. Math, science, hi-tech, etcetera—in public and private schools without being forced to obtain teaching certificates from Colleges of Education . Retired military specialists are among the best trained and experienced in high tech, science, math , etcetera, yet are not allowed to share their experience with our children in subject areas where we are not able to compete with the world. Furthermore, to vote to eliminate federal support to politically active Universities and Colleges of Education, State Offices of Education and most urgently to cancel the U.S. Office of Education and use the billions of dollars wasted there to fund innovative pilot research programs in the schools, to significantly improve all students' academic achievement regardless of color, race, and/or ethnic background. [ Top ]

(16) Vote on a law that requires gas stations to pump a minimum of 50% Ethanol. In Brazil it has been scientifically demonstrated that sugar based Ethanol produces significantly less polluting emissions and much more power in each gallon of Ethanol, than any other gasoline additive including corn based Ethanol. Furthermore, sugar-based Ethanol results in significantly better mileage than corn, soy and others.

Equally important is the fact that Ethanol yields per acre for Brazilian sugar cane and French beet sugar are roughly double those of American corn, experts say. What's extraordinary about sugar cane and sugar beets as an energy source is that it's so incredibly efficient. Many Ethanol feed stocks, such as corn, wheat, soy, etcetera require as much energy to grow and refine as they actually produce in energy. But sugar production actually results in a huge net positive energy gain ... about 8:1 energy output to energy input.

So why do our politicians, big oil, and most of the mainstream media talk of the promise of Ethanol, but do nothing about it? Because they know that the only threat to political bribery (oops ... I mean donations and Big Oil) is Ethanol. Keep in mind that various forms of Ethanol additives—especially sweet Ethanol—to gasoline, diesel oil, etcetera are capable of setting Big Oil right on their collective asses, and can indeed reduce the cost of gasoline and crude oil distillates by a significant percentage and thus end Big Oil's and politicians' energy stranglehold on the consumer. In my administration the people will vote to approve no cost government loans to entrepreneurs who want to start sweet ethanol farming and production, along with the same in starting wind, solar and geothermal energy source development. How can entrepreneurs start up alternative energy businesses on that tired old congressional promise of extensive tax credits, when its not tax credits they need. It takes cash loans to start the business before they can make profits to use tax credits. Tax credit—phooey! [ Top ]

(17) To vote on a bill that will terminate Federal subsidies to public and private museums that contract for art exhibits that mock, insult and denigrate any and all religions, e.g. Images of the crucifix in urine; feces on the face of the Blessed Mother Virgin Mary, etcetera. This is not free speech ... this is free insult rendering being paid for by U.S. taxpayers. Another area where the spineless Congress is constantly absent. [ Top ]

(18) To vote on a law to prevent the Federal Government to continue to cede public land to American Indian tribes to build gambling casinos on off reservation land (called reservation shopping). It has been revealed by the National Geographic Society and other publications that the American Indians were not the first peoples to occupy America. It is well accepted in the discipline of Archeology that the first Indian tribes traveled from Mongolia (that's their native land) via the Aleutian Islands (Bering Strait) thousands of years ago and settled in various parts of the Western Hemisphere.

Recent research information from the United Kingdom points to the probability that American Indian tribes are descendants of peoples who may have been the third or fourth to inhabit the Americas, therefore are not entitled to the designation Native American. There are some compelling indications that the first humans to inhabit the Western Hemisphere were Caucasoid whites, possibly the Vikings from Scandinavia. In fact, the latest research evidence was uncovered by Mexican born archaeologist Dr. Silvia Gonzalez, working with other scientists from the United Kingdom's John Moores University and Oxford University's Research Laboratory of Archeology ... (not too shabby). The newly found skull of a 26 year old woman was dated to be about 13,000 years old, 2000 years older than the previous oldest skull found on the North American continent (the Baja California find. Those humans were perhaps the second or third inhabitants of America.)

Dr. Gonzalez who was the leader of the research team, admitted that the discovery lends support to the contention that the first Americans may have actually been Europeans. She said, “At the moment it points to that as being likely. They were definitely not Mongoloid in appearance. They were from somewhere else. As to whether they were European, at this point in time, we cannot say 'no'.

Dr. Gonzalez and her associates suggested that Stone Age People from Europe made the difficult Atlantic crossing thousands of years before the Vikings and before Christopher Columbus.

So where does that leave us with regard to the government's sacred cow contention regarding the sovereignty of the American Indians and their claims to large masses of reservation land and the Fed's untouchable anointment of Indian Reservations as separate nations within the United States? This can be only viewed by the American people as lies, fraud and bilking of America ... sure, this information was probably not available when they ceded the land to the Indians, but the government, (especially Congress and the Committee on Indian Affairs) the media, universities, and most Indian tribes have known about it for at least two or three decades, yet they have deceived the American people to the present time.

Since all of this archaeological information has come to light, Federal and State governments have stepped up the ceding of non-reservation land to Indian tribes, as is being carried forth in the current reservation shopping phenomena in Barstow, California and the old Borscht Belt in upstate New York. Yet nobody is paying any attention to the people who will be hurt the most (casino employees and small business owners) in legal gambling jurisdictions like Las Vegas, Mississippi and Atlantic City. This underhanded scam of the American people is a good example of unfair competition being propagated by Federal and State governments. [ Top ]

(19) To enact a law that will require the Federal Government to provide financial support to local police and sheriff's departments (city and county) to form a special Anti-Gang Interdiction Force (A.G.I.F.) hired and maintained by local law enforcement agencies, and trained by U.S. Army Special Forces personnel, while Federal intelligence gathering agencies e.g. The F.B.I., C.I.A., and State Police will act in a supportive role to the local law enforcement agencies.

The newly developed A.G.I.F.'s primary duties and responsibilities will be to hit known organized gangs throughout the U.S. in a manner similar to the Army's Special Forces, backed by field intelligence gathered locally and nationally and further supported by State Police, FBI and CIA crime and forensic labs and computer data bases. It's time that people who live in these gang infested communities can leave their homes in broad daylight without being afraid they'll be accosted, raped, or murdered on their own front lawn, or that their home may be burgled while they've gone for a healthy walk.

Accompanying A.G.I.F. actions will be Federal laws that provide Federal Judges with absolute minimum sentencing laws, so that politically active jurists cannot impose their own bleeding heart desires relative to sentencing convicted criminals. Associated with minimum sentencing will be the prohibition of the use of plea bargaining by federal prosecutors which fuels the continuous revolving prison doors for convicted felons.

Furthermore, federal prisons will furnish the same facilities for white collar criminals as they do for blue collar prisoners. The current sobriquet of Federal Country Club Prisons for multi-millionaire former business C.E.O.s and other executives will be blotted out of the law enforcement lexicon.

Finally, on this law and order issue, the people will be asked to vote on a special law that will dispense with the current kid gloves handling of todays “under-aged” punk juvenile criminals. Kids as young as ten years old know they can commit crimes—in some states even murder and rape—and get away with serving time in juvey facilities until they reach a particular state's age of legal adulthood. So now these junior criminals are running wild without much concern about being caught or spending much time in prison. In today's society where many families are experiencing absent fatherhood, the mothers are incapable of handling sons who at age 15 may be 6'3" and a strong 200 lbs. It's time these junior hoodlums are placed in special adult-type prisons with required minimum adult sentences and/or in boot camp facilities to learn the basic difference between right and wrong, which apparently they have not learned at home or in school. [ Top ]

(20) Have the people vote on a law that will require the Federal Government to provide financial support to a program that will allow volunteer firefighters in one section of the country as New England or the Great Lakes to directly assist firefighters in another part of the country as California and other parts of the West, when they are fighting multiple wild fires and need professional assistance to arrive in the shortest period of time. The volunteers would be transported via U.S. Air Force jumbo cargo planes along with fire fighting equipment and vehicles.

Furthermore, the program would supply a high-tech communication system designed to alert the cooperative volunteers on stand-by, to be ready to fly to the destination needing their assistance. This special communication system will help avoid the communication fiasco experienced by the firefighters at the 911 Twin Towers rescue attempt, when the firefighters were not allowed to purchase radios to be able to communicate with their support groups and police emergency personnel, so that they could adequately coordinate their rescue attempts. The city of New York turned down their requests to purchase the radios earlier on. (So much for Mayor Giuliani's heroics ... where was he when the firefighters requests for radios were made known?) In this Cooperative Program, the Fed will have an ongoing continuously replenished fund that will supply firefighter battalions throughout the country with special funding for critical equipment—as the radios—when local jurisdictions fail to provide such equipment.

Recent research on global warming by the likes of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, caution that the warming of the earth will spark killer lightning in the Western U.S. that will increase in frequency by about six percent in the near future, as the West gets drier with less humidity making it an even more dangerous tinderbox, with more wildfires than they are experiencing today. If we don't develop a Wildfires Firefighters Cooperative now, it will be too late when the increased lightning matches begin striking the dry brush and forests in the West. Hopefully, this program will render assistance to the strapped personnel on the fire line, in a life and environment saving shorter time frame. [ Top ]

(21) The people will be asked to vote on a bill that will develop a program to furnish some relief for sorely needed prison space, by releasing prisoners who were wrongfully incarcerated for life and/or sentenced to death. This program will be named the Prisoner's DNA Project. Its purpose will be to provide Federal grant funds to state prisons to offer DNA testing to all inmates whose records show that DNA samples were available within their crime scenes, but because of some investigative foul-up or because DNA technology had not yet been developed, these convicts had not been exposed to such testing. These wrongly convicted inmates and their families deserve a chance to prove their innocence by being tested with the newest DNA technology available. There is no reason why innocent Americans remain incarcerated and separated from their families when dependable technology is available, while those who were correctly convicted for life, are let out on parole by yet another pussy hearted parole board ! [ Top ]

(22) To have the people vote for the Federal Government to offer financial support for a National Injured Veterans Watchdog Authority. Investigative teams will be comprised of medical specialists and former military personal who had experienced severe wounds in combat. The duties and responsibilities of these teams will be to examine current veteran care giving by participating in unannounced spot inspections of various VA hospitals and clinics throughout the U.S., and to recommend on the spot functional remedies where the need is indicated. They will also respond to discharged veterans complaints regarding refusal to provide adequate care.

Although there are Congressional Committees whose responsibility it is to monitor these care giving facilities, committee members usually don't have the time required for hands-on inspections of the kinds necessary to maintain top notch care for our embattled discharged veterans. Some of these congressional committee members have no military service nor combat experience to be placed in a position to render an in-depth opinion, with respect to the level of medical and psychiatric care being rendered. It is time the American people looked past Bush's periodic, predictable pronouncements on how he promises that care for the disabled veteran will improve, only to see that nothing is done until the next periodic pronouncement. During 2006, Bush himself cut 1.5 billion from the V.A. budget, while simultaneously preaching that vet's care must be improved. (Sound familiar ... the same as Bush's inspections and pronouncements that FEMA will do a better job with the Katrina victims in New Orleans ... how many times have we heard that during the past two years? How can a President of the U.S. publicly lie over and over again with his hollow promises? It will get better ... yeah, right!)

Along with having these teams comprised of appropriate medical personnel and veterans who have experienced severe wounds, the National Injured Veterans Watchdog Authority should also be managed by administrative personnel who have suffered serious injuries in combat. A prime example of such a veteran would be former Major Tammy Duckworth who lost both legs when the helicopter she was piloting in Iraq was shot down in an attempted troop rescue sortie. Add to that list, Capt. Dawn Halfaker who lost her right arm and shoulder and Cpl. Jonathan Bartlett who also lost both legs. And so that list of disabled veterans continues to grow, perhaps indefinitely, thanks to non-combatants Bush, Cheney and many others from the shameless two-party system. [ Top ]

(23) Bribing the Congress of the United States

Under the show the struggle for power,
Deep down below it all, deeper than honor,
Deeper than pride, deeper than love,
Is the getting of it all,
The seizing and the holding on,
The jaws locked, biting into power
And hanging on, biting and hanging on.
(BBC TV "To Play The King")

Sounds like today's political campaigns and the ongoing struggle for power. By the time it's over in November 2008, millions, if not billions, will be spent legally and illegally by the myriad of Democratic and Republican candidates for President, not to mention the battle for control of Congress. All of this so that candidates can blow all this money for nothing that's productive, as they argue about money that is not being spent for health care, road repair, infrastructure repair, veterans care, etcetera.

Without a doubt, what drives this pernicious practice of politicians from both parties is the acceptance of bribe money from special interest groups for financial support of their election campaigns.

When I am elected, I will ask the American people to vote on a bill that will effectively restrict political contributions to a maximum of $100 per individual and $500 per corporation, business associations, political parties, labor unions, etcetera. With the Internet playing a leading role in political campaigns,—it's estimated that up to 75% of political news is now obtained via the Internet as opposed to TV—political party coffers can survive on significantly less cash than they have been spending to date, if they concentrate on utilizing the Internet instead of TV advertising and personal appearances.

As you probably know by now, ours is exclusively an Internet campaign, and so far we have not solicited nor will we accept one red cent in political contributions . We maintain a staff of two people who volunteer their time ... my wife and I ... with assistance from other family members and friends ... and have no desire to change our present policy. Why do todays candidates for the Presidency need to travel around the country campaigning and spending millions—it will add up to about two years of this—when they should be back in Washington representing their constituents in Congress Hillary has already spent close to 80 million and will probably spend over a billion before it's over ... but when was she last seen in the Senate, where she is supposed to represent her constituents and not herself and the Democratic party? (She has one of the Senate's worst attendance and tardiness records.)

This spend-thrift practice will of course continue until I am elected President and the people install a Direct Democracy (Platform Issue #8 above) that will take care of Congressional bribe taking but not yet in the presidential election process. The previously suggested contribution limits should suffice while any election runs by me and my running mate will continue to adhere to our present policy of not accepting any political bribe money (contributions, donations).

Hopefully, these contribution rules will act as a catalyst for eliminating the dominant two-party system. Political parties are the ultimate in special interest group domination in the political process. Many middle income and working class people testify that neither party represents them. It is true that the Republicans and Conservatives generally represent the wealthy, while the Democrats represent the pseudo-poor, and those with their socialist agendas. But there has been no in-between representation.

Now America has an alternative. No more excuses for not voting because people say there's no definitive choice available. In a Direct Democracy it has been estimated that up to 70% more people will vote because they feel they will have a direct influence on issues and election outcomes, instead of having Congress vote in their stead, i.e. if a specific bill even comes up for a vote.

If the people, instead of Congress, voted directly on the issues, the process would eliminate all PACs, lobbyists, and the current system of political prostitution, except in the Presidential race, where the contribution limits spelled out above would help control special interest group bribing attempts (via their lobbyist). There's no way the lobbyist-pimps can bribe 300 million people. Can you imagine ... no more sickening repetition of political TV commercials running for almost two years these days. Maybe the people will be able to get back to their normal lifestyle, while candidates like Hillary, Obama, Giuliani, Romney and the no clue former lobbyist actor-politician Thompson will have to stay home and use the Internet. In a way, it's too bad that we'll be deprived of the candidates entertaining money raising gambits, to wit: Hillary's recent hollow explanations of the Norman Hsu fund-raising artifice for her, where she dramatically returned $23,000 of his donations, but quietly kept the $96,000 or more he also raised for her. Isn't it interesting how Hillary claims ignorance in the case of Hsu, since he was recently apprehended in California on an outstanding 15 year old warrant, in a criminal case where Hsu was accused of grand theft? However, Hillary showed no ignorance at all when she kept the $96,000 she received from Hsu. Now she claims she's going to return all of Hsu's contributions.

Another one of Hillary's fascinating fund-raising romps popped up in the media when fund-raiser supreme and close Clinton family friend, Indian-American businessman Sant Chatwell raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Hillary's campaign even while two separate governments were trying to nail him for trying to escape bankruptcy and millions in tax liabilities. How can close family friends like Hillary and Bill not know what's going on with friend Sant Chatwell ... guess the Clintons don't read newspapers and money is money, no matter where it comes from ... gelt is the velt! Stay tuned ... there's much more to come.

These are just a couple of examples of how Democratic and Republican party candidates perform their illegal contributions juggling act when they are found out. If they accepted no money at all—as is the case in our campaign—they wouldn't need to be concerned! (The latest ... V.P. Dugout Dick Cheney is coming to Vegas to preside over still another fund-raiser. Just last week Bush did the same in Reno. Who pays for these jaunts ? When do these pols work on the peoples business. No wonder the war is so screwed-up ... nobody in Washington is watching the farm ... there'll be some changes made!) I'll spend most of my time taking care of business at home. Is Bush ever in the White House? [ Top ]

(24) The American people will finally have the opportunity to get over the 2004 Presidential election disaster when Al Gore was deprived of the Presidency by the destructive Electoral College, where he won the popular vote. That nationally virulent practice awarded Bush the presidency and he has gone on to become the worst president our country has suffered with. Although I am not a supporter of Al Gore, I believe even he—or practically anybody else (except Hillary and slick Willy)—could have done a better job than the present Bush. Therefore, when I am president, I will ask the people to vote on a bill that will strike down the Electoral College in favor of the popular vote to elect the President of the United States.

For those who have read my Platform Issues thoroughly and agree with most of them—if you would like to email a response, I may not be able to respond to some of them, please do so to our email address: candidate@flowers4prez.com. For those of you who enjoy what the two-party system has done to our country, please send your bleeding heart emails to the headquarters of the Democratic or Republican parties. I'm exhausted by people who moan and groan continuously but don't have the guts to do anything about what's killing our country ... the bribe-taking, do-nothing Democratic and Republican Parties.

If I have to listen to your complaints to become President, I'd rather go back to being a happy old fart and enjoy seeing you get what you richly deserve, from the selfish politicians you continue to vote for. For the rest of you, may I leave you with a light spiritual thought (the one that drives me the most in the present crusade):

Jesus said, 'If you bring forth what is in you,
What you bring forth will save you.
If you do not bring forth what is in you,
What you do not bring forth will destroy you.
